My favorite moment as a senior would have to be PROM. Not just prom exactly but when I walked down the hall with my beautiful date and how I was stopped by anonymous and he pointed at me saying that I was the future. It felt great because someone believed in me and what I could do. I wanted to take that as motivation and a reminder that I can never stop my journey to the top. Its a great reminder to stay humble and work hard so that your success can speak for itself.

Let me take this time to talk about my favorite moment as a high school student. I can be generic and say that I was proud that I got into college, but I feel that thats something I have to do. My parents left everything behind so that I can flourish in this new country, so I feel like graduating from college is something I actually owe them. Now, my favorite moment would be playing my last game as a high school senior I scored two goals that game after being down 1-0. That was pretty exciting and I was really hyped, because we played with 11 men vs 8 of theirs. Overall I'm just happy with mine and the teams performance.

           Being an immigrant the whole portion when we talked about our rights and what we had to do if we were ever confronted by police or I.C.E. All that information was extremely great and helpful. For example if I were ever confronted by immigration I can show my appropriate paper work and cooperate, but as soon as their suspicion is done I can ask to leave.            I learned that police cannot enter your house with ought a warrant and that they can lie very easily. An important thing to also be aware of is that we can simply ask if we are free to go and that eliminates all confusion and allows you to leave legally. That is an extremely fare and effective skill to know. I feel that thats the skill I will for sure use in future.

            In this class we had a thing we did most Mondays which was to review all current events and stay updated with whats going on around the world. We would review and discuss the presidential election and the outcome of what each president can bring to the table. Unfortunately the president that most of us did not agree with won and thankfully we were aware of what he was going to do and what he was able to do because of the in class discussions.             We would begin by coming in and having about 5-10 topics to discuss. They were all interesting and had the ability to affect us so it was great to know what was going on. Also this has sparked a habit in me to once a week look up whats going on in our country. It is very important to know what is going on because some things can affect us in a negative way.
